These records are housed in the Utah State Archives' permanent storage room.

Some of these photos are attached to glass and show heavy fading typically associated with light exposure. Because of the fragility and poor quality of these photos they should not be removed from the glass.

Scope and Content

The Division of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) provides professional standards and training, leadership, and certification for peace officers and dispatchers. This series contains photographs that document every graduating class that has finished POST training. Currently six photos are taken of each graduating class per year.

Custody History

These photographs were temporarily transferred to the State Archives from POST on December 15, 2011. The State Archives digitized all photographs, and returned the original images to the POST office in January 2012.
